The product I was looking for in this structure quest from each store’s online website was Pokemon Trading Cards, the Paldean Fates in particular. Using each website, I believe the easiest to find anything was Gamestop’s website. It took me less than 5 seconds to find what I was looking for once I arrived on their website by simply searching for Pokemon trading cards. The Dangerous Gentleman – Gamesellers was probably the hardest in that this business only used Facebook as their main website instead of an actual website. Although it took me about 5 minutes to search through their posts to find anything related to their Pokemon cards, the one thing I disliked was I was not able to visibly see any price listings in their photos or on their posts at all so although I might have liked seeing the product, there was no way in which I can estimate whether it would be within my budget. The Emerald Haven was better than the previous, however, their website was a bit less convenient to search on, the only way I was able to locate the cards was by entering their TCG category instead of using the search bar they provided. Another thing I noticed is instead of listing the packs for the trading cards they instead list singular cards so I had no way of finding out whether their shop sold packets of cards at all.
Comparing all three respectively, Gamestop was the easiest to navigate and their website’s menu was very simple to use. Emerald Haven did a relatively good job, however, there is a lot of work they could do to improve their website such as using their search bar to allow me to search their listings instead of forcing me to choose which category I want to visit and then afterward let me choose what I want to see. Their menu choice is what I feel is their weakest point due to forcing a user to select where they want to go first before letting them see what they have to offer. There could be an off chance I’m interested in something else besides what I’m searching for and if I see it listed then I would be able to tell based on that, but since I can’t view anything beyond what I intentionally searched for then I have no idea whether I’ll find new things at random. The last online website was by far the worst, the website was nonexistent besides a Facebook page and even then it was difficult to find anything I wanted unless I spent hours scrolling through their posts.
